It depends on you how much time you take to plan your wedding. It might take anything from 6 months to two years to plan a wedding. However, even if you miss a single step in this planning process, your wedding day could be a little less perfect than what you wanted it to be. I am sure you don’t want that happening. 7- 12 months prior to your wedding day
• Announce your engagement and throw an engagement party
• Decide on your wedding style and prepare a guest list
• Decide on the common guests in your wedding party
• Decide on the date and time of your wedding
• Make prior booking of your wedding officiate
• Select your wedding song
• Discuss and decide on the “extra” elements( cakes, flowers, dj, photographers)
• Make prior purchases of your wedding dress and bridal accessories
• Buy bridesmaids dresses and accessories ( do the same for maid of honour )
• Make plans for your honeymoon
• Buy your wedding favours
• Buy wedding invitations well in advance
• Plan out your rehearsal ceremony and dinner
